Halloween Party Games and Craft Ideas For Children

Children like dressing up as their favorite characters for Halloween, but you may not feel safe sending them out to Trick or Treating these days. Why not try something new this year and invite your children's friends round for a Halloween party? They can all dress up and have some scary fun in the comfort of your own home. Consider the following party games and Halloween craft activities to keep them amused.

1. The less-than-scary Halloween parade

The kids will want to show off their Halloween costumes, so throw on some mussy and have a Halloween costume parade. Make them execute their best dancing steps to the music as the grownups yell, clap, and appear appropriately terrified!

2. Trick or Treat extravaganza

Cut some paper strips in half and write the word "reward" on half of them and a list of tricks on the other half, such as "jump on one leg," "growl like a lion," or "sing their favorite song." Place all the paper pieces in a hat or pillowcase and scatter chocolates and candies across the room. Ask each youngster to draw a piece of paper from the cap during the celebration. They must then perform the trick or go on a hunt for the sweets. Murder mystery games

Ideas for Halloween crafts

Allow the youngsters to settle around the table for some peaceful craft time after the party activities have worn them out. To get you started, consider the following suggestions:

1. Make a not-so-scary Halloween mask

Ask the youngsters to build their masks using white paper plates, glue, ribbons, felt pens, and other craft supplies. They may make them as amusing or frightening as they like. When everyone is finished, poke a hole on each side of the plate and attach a piece of elastic to allow the kids to wear their masks and pose for a group shot!

2. The fantastic Halloween prize haul

Allow your children to design their treasure bags to take home after the festivities. You'll need the exact items you used for the masks, but they'll need brown paper bags to embellish. Allow the children to return to playing while you finish decorating and fill the loot bags with sweets and Halloween-themed snacks. They may take their loot bags home after the party is done.
